Man kills toddler by running car over him

Thane, Jan 11: A fifteen-month-old child was killed allegedly after a 38-year-old man ran his car over him prima facie owing to a pending feud with the toddler's father, police said on Jan 10.

The incident occurred in Kolivali village in Bhiwandi taluka last evening when Vishwanath Hulawale (38) allegedly ran his car over Devang Patil, said inspector Dhanaji Kshirsagar of Bhiwandi taluka police station.

He said a search is on to nab Hulawale. According to the complaint, Hulawale had a pending dispute with Devang's father Dayanand and had earlier made unsuccessful bid on the latter's life.
