Man Killed as Jilted Lover Attacks Girl and Her Parents in Siddharthnagar District

A tragic incident unfolded in Siddharthnagar district, Uttar Pradesh, where a man attacked a girl he loved and her family with a knife. The girl's father died at the scene, while the 17-year-old girl and her mother were seriously injured. They have been transferred to Gorakhpur Medical College for treatment. The accused fled after the attack, prompting police to initiate a search.

According to police sources, the attack occurred around 9 pm on Saturday in Nagchhori Kevathiya Deeh village, within the Misraulia police station area. The family was returning home when Mukesh Kumar Nishad, aged 19 and a resident of the same village, confronted them. He was infatuated with the girl, but her family disapproved of the relationship.

Police Launch Search for Accused

The accused arrived in a car and attempted to forcefully take the girl. When her parents intervened, he attacked them with a knife. The girl's 40-year-old father died instantly, while her 38-year-old mother sustained severe injuries. After briefly abducting the girl in his car, Nishad stabbed her and left her on the road before fleeing.

Upon receiving information about the incident, police quickly dispatched a team to the location. Additional Superintendent of Police Prashant Kumar Prasad stated that they transported the injured to the district hospital before referring them to Gorakhpur Medical College. The deceased's body has been sent for post-mortem examination.

The local community is in shock following this violent episode. Authorities have formed multiple teams to apprehend Nishad. The police are actively pursuing leads to locate him as soon as possible.
