Man jumps from Lok Sabha gallery to protest demonetisation

As Parliament was debating the demonetisation issue, a man jumped into the house from the Lok Sabha gallery.

New Delhi, Nov 25: As Parliament was debating the demonetisation issue, a man jumped into the house from the Lok Sabha gallery.

Reports suggested that the man tried to jump of over the fence of the visitor's gallery into the House. He was nabbed and whisked away by security personnel.

Although the reason in not clear, reports suggest that it could be in protest over the demonetisation issue. The man has been identified as Rakesh Singh Bagel.

He tried to raise slogans against the demonetisation issue and the government's anti people policy Investigations showed that he had a valid visitor's pass which as recommended by BJP leader Bhola Singh who is an MP from Bulandhahar in Uttar Pradesh.
