UP Man Urinates On Dalit Youth; Arrested
A man has been reportedly arrested in Uttar Pradesh's Sonbhadra district for allegedly peeing on a Dalit youth, Deccan Herald reported.
The incident occurred on Tuesday but came to light on Thursday after the clip of the incident went viral.

The accused has been identified as Jawahar Patel. He is a resident of Jugail in Sonbhadra district.
In the viral clip, Patel is seen peeing in one of the ears of the Dalit youth. In another video, Patel was recorded verbally abusing the other man and specifically targeting him based on his caste.
However, the two had an altercation after consuming liquor, a senior district official said. "The two had an altercation over something later on....both were drunk...after the altercation the accused urinated in the ear of the Dalit youth," he added.
However, the victim told that he did not know that the accused had peed on him as he was also drunk.
"The victim lodged a complaint with the police only after he came to know about the incident from the viral video," the official said.
The accused has been arrested under various section.
In the first week of July, a man was caught peeing on a tribal labour in Madhya Pradesh. The urination episode triggered a political controversy in the state, where Assembly polls are due by the year-end, with the Congress alleging that the accused was linked to a local Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislator and the saffron party denying its connection with him in any way.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan washed the feet of the victim at the CM's residence in Bhopal and also apologised to him over the humiliating incident. But the opposition party dubbed Chouhan's move as mere drama.
