Caught on cam: Man dragged on car bonnet in Ghaziabad over road rage

A video of a man being dragged on a car bonnet has gone viral and the cops have arrested two men in connection with a case.

Two men reportedly under the influence of alcohol first rammed their car into two vehicles and then dragged a man (driver of one of the cars) on the bonnet for at least 5 km in Ghaziabad's Mohan Nagar on Saturday night, according to PTI.

It all started after a woman questioned the two drunk men for ramming their car into her vehicle. She with her driver was returning from her work around 10 pm on Friday.

"They were speeding...We asked them to stop at the roadside. When I asked them about their rash driving, they hit my driver and me. One of them took out our car key. They hit Vijay with bricks. They slapped me and beat me up. When Vijay asked for the keys, they took him to their car and dragged him on the bonnet. There were two men, both of them were drunk. Some people followed them and Vijay was later rescued," Indian Express quoted the woman as stating in her complaint.

The accused hit a few vehicles under the influence of alcohol.

A case has been filed and the two men have been arrested, the report said.

In the viral clip doing rounds on social media, people are seen shouting at the accused.

In the recent past, many such instances are coming to light. Notably, a 20-year-old woman was killed in the national capital after her scooter was hit by a car and she was dragged by the vehicle for 10-12 kilometres on the New Year night.

She was found dead on the street, with her clothes torn off, allegedly after being hit and dragged by a car driven by youths in outer Delhi's Khanjawala area.
