Man booked for molesting girl in Delhi Metro

The girl in her twenties could be seen punching the accused, accusing him of touching her inappropriately, and arguing with co-passengers who were trying to pacify her.

New Delhi, Nov 19: A video clip showing a girl punching a man in a Metro train after accusing him of touching her inappropriately has gone viral, prompting police to register a case of molestation against the accused today.

The girl in her twenties could be seen punching the accused, accusing him of touching her inappropriately, and arguing with co-passengers who were trying to pacify her.

Police said the incident took place in a train heading towards Rajiv Chowk metro station this morning and the accused was detained.

The accused has been identified as Sudhandhu, 28. Statement of the girl will be recorded and further action will be taken accordingly, a police officer said.
