Man booked for eloping with a 27-year-old woman

Faridabad, Jan 18: A person has been booked here for allegedly eloping with a 27-year-old woman, police said on Monday, Jan 18.

The father of the woman has registered a complaint against one Saddam, hailing from Bihar. He said that the man lured the woman on the pretext of marriage, they said. Police have started the investigation to nab the accused.

Meanwhile, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, Deepak Dev informed the police yesterday that an unidentified vehicle driver crushed his friend to death in Sector 58 here.

Police have registered a case in this regard and efforts are on to nab the unidentified driver.
