Man beaten up for standing up to molesters in Muzaffarnagar

A man was assaulted by a group of persons after he objected to them eve-teasing his daughter at Khaderwala locality here, police said today.

Muzaffarnagar, Dec 7: A man was assaulted by a group of persons after he objected to them eve-teasing his daughter at Khaderwala locality here, police said today.

A case has been lodged against six persons and the main accused, Nazim, has arrested in this connection, they said.

The man has alleged in his complaint that his daughter was harassed by Nazim and his friends when she was returning home from college.

Seeing this, the man slapped Nazim, following which he was attacked by the accused, police said, adding a search is on to nab Nazim's accomplices.
