Man 'assaulted' by three persons in UP

Etah (UP), Dec 9: A man was allegedly assaulted by three persons after they had an argument due to voting during election in the village, police said.

The incident took place yesterday when Ramkhiladi and Punjabi Ramkishor, along with others had a heated argument with one Dalpati Singh in the village, due to voting in the election, they said. Dalpati was allegedly attacked by these persons.

An FIR was lodged with the police against the accused in this connection, police said. The medical examination of the victim has been done and no arrest made in this connection so far, they added.
