Man arrested with illicit liquor in Jammu

Jammu, Apr 14: A man has been arrested with over 70 pouches of country-made illicit liquor in Talab Tillo area here, police said today.

Neeraj Singh Chib, a resident of Gho Manhasa area, was arrested and 72 pouches of country-made illicit liquor were recovered from his possession yesterday, a police official said.

She said the accused used to sell illicit liquor in his native place. A case under various sections of the Excise Act has been registered against the accused and investigation is underway, she said.
