Man arrested for accepting bets on India-Aus WC match
Jhabua, Mar 26: A 30-year-old man was arrested here today for allegedly accepting bets on the India-Australia World Cup semi-final cricket match played at Sydney.
Acting on a tip-off, the police raided Gopal Kothari's residence at Gopal Colony and arrested him for accepting bets during the match, Sub Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP) Rachna Bhadoria said. [World Cup: Intolerant media and fans attack Team India when they need to be proud]
