Man Allegedly Sodomises 11-Year-Old Boy in Abandoned Clinic, Arrested
A 48-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly sodomising an 11-year-old boy for more than two months in an abandoned clinic in central Delhis Karol Bagh. The victims family discovered the abuse after finding him bleeding.
In a shocking incident from the heart of India's capital, authorities have reported the reprehensible assault of an 11-year-old boy in the busy Karol Bagh area of central New Delhi. Police officers disclosed that over the span of two months, the youngster faced serial abuse within the confines of a deserted medical facility by a man who, unbeknownst to the boy's family, was their neighbor.

On January 8, information emerged about the egregious crimes committed against the minor, leading to a swift response from law enforcement. Following the lodging of a complaint on January 5, officers took immediate action, resulting in the arrest of the 48-year-old man allegedly responsible for the horrific acts. The formal registration of the complaint set into motion an investigation that brought unsettling facts to light. The suspect was taken into custody and is currently facing serious criminal charges.
Prolonged Period of Abuse Uncovered
An exhaustive initial probe pointed to a pattern of ongoing physical and sexual assault inflicted upon the child by the accused. It was revealed that the man had not only physically attacked the boy on several occasions but had also subjected him to sexual abuse. The severity of the boy’s sufferings became apparent on December 26 when family members discovered the child bleeding. The boy, however, engulfed in fear, remained silent about his disturbing experiences. Due to persistent bleeding and a situation growing increasingly dire, concerned relatives were forced to seek medical help by admitting the boy to a central Delhi hospital on December 30.
Brutal Details Come to Light
It was only with considerable coaxing that the traumatized child confided the harrowing details of his ordeal to his family, revealing occurrences of abuse dating back to November. Recounting the events, he described a particularly violent incident on December 27, in which the man brought him back to the abandoned clinic. It was there that the child was subjected to a severe beating with a leather belt, coerced into smoking a cigarette, and experienced the sexual assault which led to his injuries. In addition to the sexual abuse endured by the minor, it was also discovered that he was branded with cigarette burns by the assailant, having been confined and tormented in the desolate clinic.
Evidence of the Crime Scene
Further investigation into the case unearthed tangible proof of the transgressions at the place of the assaults. Authorities found multiple cigarette ends scattered around the clinic, evidencing the suspect’s cruelty toward the young victim. The remnants of these cigarettes not only corroborated the child's account but also provided additional material evidence for the ongoing investigation.
Post-disclosure, the child has received professional counseling. The authorities also recorded his statement as part of the legal proceedings against the accused. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, with calls for increased vigilance and stronger protective measures for vulnerable minors. It also raises serious questions about the safety of children in urban spaces, highlighting an urgent need for community awareness and intervention strategies to guard against such vile acts.
This case serves as a somber reminder that without constant vigilance and community support, the most vulnerable in society can fall prey to activities that are both criminal and profoundly damaging to their well-being. The swift action by the Delhi Police is commendable, but it is, first and foremost, the duty of society at large to ensure that such atrocities are prevented. As law enforcement continues their work, one hopes for justice and healing for the young boy and measures to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
