Mamata pulls up 'non-performing' ministers, bureaucrats

All ministers and bureaucrats attended a closed-door meeting at the Town Hall where Banerjee took stock of the work done by each department, sources said. Unlike the last few meetings, the Chief Minister this time sent questionnaires to all ministers and bureaucrats for their replies.
Sources said Banerjee pulled up ministers and bureaucrats of departments which were below par. Banerjee is known to haul up ministers and bureaucrats at the meetings if she was not satisfied with performance. "We had very good discussions. We tried to identify the problem areas," Banerjee later told reporters.
