Mamata lays foundation for Soujanya
Kolkata, July 16: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today laid the foundation stone of Soujanya, a new state government guest house which will also host important programmes of national and international importance, at the city's Hastings area.
Modelled after New Delhi's Hyderabad House, Soujanya, named by the chief minister, would also have facilities like community hall, conference room, special rooms for Prime Minister, rest rooms and other required infrastructure.

Banerjee also flagged off a number of educational projects besides inaugurating the Sister Nivedita women's college which, she said, had been developed to advance women's education in the state.
Banerjee also inaugurated PR Thakur Government College at Gaighata in North 24-Parganas district.
