Mamata Banerjee Sustains Minor Injuries As Car Meets With Accident In Burdwan
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee sustained minor injuries on Wednesday when a car unexpectedly entered her convoy in Burdwan. Officials reported that the driver had to apply emergency brakes, resulting in the accident.
Banerjee was traveling back to Kolkata by road due to inclement weather when the incident occurred in Burdwan. According to reports, the Chief Minister was returning in the car amid rain. The driver, prompted by low visibility in the foggy conditions, suddenly applied the brakes, causing injuries to Mamata Banerjee.

The Trinamool chief incurred minor head injuries and is currently being transported back to Kolkata for further attention.
