Mamata Banerjee Slips While Boarding Helicopter In Durgapur, No Serious Injuries Reported
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee experienced a slip and fall while attempting to take a seat after boarding her helicopter in Durgapur, Paschim Bardhaman, according to a report by news agency ANI.

The incident, captured on video and shared by the news agency, shows Mamata climbing the stairs of the helicopter and then slipping while trying to sit down. Although there has been no official statement regarding the incident, reports suggest that she was not seriously injured and proceeded to Asansol for her campaign.
This is not the first time Mamata has faced injuries.
In March, she suffered a "major injury" to her forehead after falling at her home, requiring stitches. Photos shared by her party, the All India Trinamool Congress, showed Banerjee on a hospital bed with a deep cut on her forehead and blood on her face.
Additionally, Mamata had previously been injured due to an emergency landing of a helicopter she was traveling in. In June 2023, she sustained injuries during the emergency landing caused by bad weather. She later underwent a check-up at Kolkata's SSKM Hospital.
