Mamata Banerjee Says Left Trying To Control INDIA Bloc's Agenda, Won't Accept It
Ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, a rift in the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA bloc) came to light. West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee on Monday that the left wing is trying to overshadow the INDIA bloc's agenda.
Addressing an all-faith rally in Kolkata today, Mamata Banerjee made it clear that she will not accept the dominance of the Left Front, adding that the CPI (M) is trying to control the alliance.

"I suggested the name INDIA during the opposition bloc meeting. But whenever I attend the meeting, I find the Left trying to control it. This is not acceptable. I cannot agree with those with whom I had fought for 34 years," she said.
Mamata Banerjee said, "Despite such insults, I have adjusted and attended the INDIA bloc meetings."
Without taking a name, the West Bengal CM criticised the grand old party for delaying the seat-sharing for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
"I have the power and mass base to take on the BJP and fight against them. But some people don't want to listen to us about seat sharing. If you don't want to fight the BJP, then at least don't give away seats to them," Mamata Banerjee said.
On the other hand, the saffron front is doing its best to set the agenda for the general elections. Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, UP Governor Anandi Bhan Patel and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat performed the rituals for the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha.
