Mallikarjun Kharge says LS Speaker should never lose cool

Leader of the Congress in the Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday said that the Speaker Sumitra Mahajan shouldn't come under government's pressure and lost her cool.

He said,''Never happened under Former Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar. She never lost her cool.'' He further said that a Speaker shouldn't come under govt's pressure. He also said that Mahajan should withdraw her order and allow them in the House.

Meanwhile, Opposition Mps to protest on the recent incidents of lynching and on farmer issues at Gandhi statue in Parliament.

Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on Monday suspended six Congress MPs for five days for 'highly unbecoming' conduct and causing 'grave disorder' by storming the Well and tearing and throwing papers during a ruckus over not being allowed to speak on cow vigilantism.

Shortly after Mahajan suspended six Congress MPs from the House, She said that she was 'deeply hurt' over the conduct of Congress MPs in the House and that she had only asked them to raise the lynching issue after Question Hour.
