Maliwal Assault Case Delhi Police To Grill Arvind Kejriwal s Parents AAP Terms It BJP s Pressure Politics

A female officer has requested a meeting with all three to record their statements.

However, Aam Aadmi Party has termed the whole case as a conspiracy orchestrated by BJP to put pressure on Aam Aadmi Party chief CM Kejriwal as they don't want him to campaign and strengthen INDIA Bloc.

AAP's Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said that whatever Modi government is doing through agencies, people of this country and especially Delhi are observing closely, they will answer BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections slated on May 25.

Senior AAP leader and Delhi Minister Atishi said, "All limits have been crossed as his (Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal) old and ailing parents have been called for questioning today. Has the PM stooped so low that old parents are being harassed? The people of Delhi will give an answer to this through their vote. This whole thing is a conspiracy by the BJP."

Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal said that he expects a fair investigation, so that truth can come to light and justice should be served. "There are two versions of the event. Police should investigate both versions fairly and justice should be done," Kejriwal said.

Meanwhile, Swati Maliwal, in a social media post, said, "After unleashing the entire army of leaders and volunteers at me, calling me a BJP agent, assassinating my character, leaking edited videos, victim shaming me, roaming around with the accused, letting him re enter the crime scene and tamper evidences and protesting in favour of the accused, the Chief Minister, in whose drawing room I was beaten up, has finally said that he wants free and fair investigation in the matter. Irony died a thousand deaths. I don't buy this one bit.
