Malayalam actor Siddarth Bharathan critically injured in car crash
Kochi, Sep 12: Young Malayalam actor-director Sidharth Bharathan was seriously wounded after his car allegedly crashed into a roadside wall near here early this morning, police said.
Sidharth, who suffered a serious head injury in the smash that occurred at 2 AM at Champakkara, has been admitted to the Medical Trust hospital here. Hospital sources said his condition is serious but stable.

The 32-year-old suffered a serious head injury due to the hit. Sidharth is the son of legendary Malayalam film director Bharathan and actress KPAC Lalitha. Movie star, including Mammootty and Dileep, visited him in the hospital, sources said.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala telephoned the hospital authorities to enquire about his health condition, they said. Dileep-starrer 'Chandrettan Evideya' directed by Siddharth early this year was a box office success.
