A major fire broke out on Thursday in Behrampada near Bandra railway station in Mumbai. The fire engulfed the station at rush hour after a fire erupted in a slum nearby.

Fire confined to hutments in the area of about 300x300 and Skywalk of the railway station. Fire spreading towards South, North and East side.
Western Railway PRO said all lines at Bandra working including Harbour lines.

The central railway harbour local train services from CSMT to Bandra and Andheri,and Vashi to Andheri from 04.25pm were shut down, as the slum dwellers threw their belongings on the harbour railway tracks. The services resumed at 4.40pm.Courtesy: ANI news
