Maintain status quo on SYL canal: SC
New Delhi, March 17: The Supreme Court on Thursday ordered status quo on the SYL canal and appointed the union home secretary as well as the Punjab chief secretary and DGP as receiver of the canal.
The apex court constitution bench headed by Justice Anil R.
Dave passed the status quo order on an application by Haryana, bringing to the notice of the court the attempts to damage and level the SYL canal.
