Historical Context and Election Dates

Parvati was traditionally a Congress stronghold. Despite being given the seat three times, the NCP never secured a win there. "So I decided to contest," said Congress rebel Ulhas alias Aaba Bagul. This historical context adds another layer to the current political dynamics in the region.

The Maharashtra assembly elections are scheduled for November 20, with results expected on November 23. This election period is crucial for all parties involved as they vie for control over these significant constituencies.
