Maharashtra Exit Polls 2024: Mahayuti Alliance To Win 152-195 Seats, Predicts ABP Matrize
After the polls closed for the Maharashtra Assembly elections on 20 November, an exit poll conducted by Matrize suggested a victory for the BJP and Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde)-led Mahayuti alliance.
The BJP and Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde)-led Mahayuti alliance clinching between 15 and 195 seats out of the 288 available, comfortably surpassing the 145-seat threshold needed to form a government. The BJP is expected to lead the charge with an estimated 102 to 120 seats, leaving the Congress with a projected 24 to 44 seats.

In terms of vote share, the Mahayuti alliance is predicted to have garnered 46 percent of the total votes, indicating a strong preference among the electorate. This is a significant lead over the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance, which is expected to have secured 42 percent of the vote. Other smaller parties and independents are predicted to have collected 10 percent of the vote share.
