Maharashtra cabinet: Bhaskar Jadhav gets Labour portfolio

Mumbai, June 27: NCP leader Bhaskar Jadhav who was sworn in as minister in the

cabinet has been alloted the

and special assistance portfolio.

Hasan Mushrif, also of NCP, who held the Labour and special assistance portfolio, will now hold the water resources (excluding the Krishna valley irrigation corporation), official sources told PTI.

Jadhav, former Maharashtra unit president of NCP, was yesterday sworn in as a Cabinet minister in the Chavan-led ministry.

Governor K Sankaranarayanan administered the oath of office to Jadhav, who replaced Sunil Tatkare (Water Resources) who has quit after being appointed the chief of the state NCP unit.
