Maharashtra BJP Sets Sights on All 48 Lok Sabha Seats in Election Strategy Meet
In a strategic move ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) core committee in Maharashtra convened on Sunday with the cluster in-charges to deliberate on the electoral approach for all 48 constituencies in the state. The meeting, lasting two hours, was marked by a directive to concentrate efforts on securing victories across all constituencies, with a special emphasis on aligning campaign strategies as though Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself were the candidate in each constituency.

The BJP, aiming high, has set an ambitious target of winning over 45 seats out of the total 48 in Maharashtra. To achieve this, the party has organized the constituencies into 16 clusters, assigning senior leaders the responsibility to oversee these segments. The focus is on addressing local issues and navigating through potential challenges unique to each constituency.
Among those attending the crucial meeting were Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, state unit president Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Mumbai unit president Ashish Shelar, and Dinesh Sharma, the BJP's Maharashtra in-charge and a Rajya Sabha member with a notable political background as the former deputy chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. The gathering also saw participation from several state cabinet ministers who are part of the BJP core committee.
The BJP is part of the Mahayuti alliance in Maharashtra, which also includes the Shiv Sena led by Eknath Shinde and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) led by Ajit Pawar, along with the Rashtriya Samaj Paksha. To date, the BJP has announced 24 candidates in Maharashtra. In alignment, its allies Shiv Sena and NCP have declared their candidates for eight and three seats respectively, including a significant seat in Baramati.
As part of their comprehensive election strategy, BJP workers are instructed to support every candidate from the Mahayuti alliance. Plans are underway to organize public meetings and rallies across all 288 assembly constituencies in Maharashtra. Additionally, party workers are encouraged to commemorate the BJP's Foundation Day on April 6 at the booth level.
The party leadership has emphasized the importance of communicating to voters about the key initiatives and schemes launched by the Modi government. This approach is part of a broader strategy to ensure that the electorate is fully aware of the government's achievements and developmental projects ahead of casting their votes.
