Maharashtra Assembly Election: Nawab Malik's Daughter Sana To Contest From Anushakti Nagar On NCP Ticket
In a major development ahead of the forthcoming state elections, Ajit Pawar's NCP has released the second list of candidates for Maharashtra, featuring prominent contenders and strategically chosen matchups.
Among the key names is Sana Malik, daughter of former minister Nawab Malik, who is set to contest from Anushakti Nagar.

The list also includes Zeeshan Siddiqui, who will face off against Varun Sardesai from UBT Shiv Sena in Bandra East. Additionally, Sanjay Kaka will contest from Tasgaon, challenging Rohit Patil of Shiv Sena. Another notable candidate, Loha Pratap Patil, is to stand from Chikhli.
With a total of 45 candidates announced so far, the NCP is taking decisive steps in shaping its electoral strategy, aiming to solidify its presence in significant constituencies.
Speculation persists regarding Nawab Malik's political plans, particularly with rumours of his possible challenge to Abu Azmi for the Mankhurd Shivajinagar seat.
As the elections draw near, the NCP's candidate lineup is increasingly defining the political landscape, setting the stage for a fiercely competitive contest.
