Maharashtra: 24 coaches of a goods train derail near Satna

Twenty four coaches of a goods train derailed on Friday evening near Satna, Maharashtra. The train movement on Mumbai-Howrah up line and Satna-Rewa track were affected due to the derailment.

The railway officials are working to fix the damaged track and restore traffic.

On December 29, at least six coaches of New Delhi-Manduadih Express train derailed at the New Delhi Railway station.

In September 2017, the engine of Burhwal-Balamau passenger train derailed at Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh.

On September 7, the engine and power car of the Ranchi-Delhi Rajdhani Express derailed near Minto Bridge in Delhi.
