Mahakumbh: Meet 'Chai Wale Baba' Offering Free IAS Coaching

In an inspiring turn of events, a tea seller from Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, has emerged as a savior for these hopefuls. Dinesh Swaroop Brahmachari, popularly known as 'Chai Wala Baba,' has been offering free coaching to civil service aspirants for the last 40 years. His remarkable dedication to teaching has gained widespread attention.

Free Coaching via WhatsApp

Currently at the Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, Baba provides civil services coaching entirely through WhatsApp. He shares study materials, answers questions, and guides students from all over the country. Rajesh Singh, a civil service aspirant, shared with ANI that he has been receiving Baba's guidance for several years, emphasizing how the silent teacher communicates through his gestures and WhatsApp messages. "Baba may remain silent, but his messages and gestures speak volumes," Singh said.

Baba's silence is an essential part of his method. He explains that abstaining from food and only consuming tea helps him accumulate energy, which he directs toward his students' success. This silent approach has not only captured attention but also helped hundreds of aspirants navigate their civil service journey. "His silence helps me focus better and direct my energy towards the welfare of others," Baba said.

While Baba continues his mission of helping students, the Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj is taking center stage. With over 45 crore devotees expected, the grand event will start on January 13 and conclude on February 26. Devotees from across the country will gather to bathe in the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati, seeking purification and Moksha.
