Mahajan inaugurates 'cyber labs' in Nashik
Nashik (Maha), Aug 15: Maharashtra Water Resources Minister Girish Mahajan today inaugurated 'cyber labs' at the Nashik Rural Police Headquarters and the Nashik Police Commissionarate.
While the cyber lab at the Nashik Rural Police Headquarters was inaugurated at Adgaon in the city, the one for city police was inaugurated on the Gangapur Road by Mahajan, an official release said. Mahajan said Maharashtra has become the first state in the country where cyber-labs have been opened at 42 places simultaneously to check on criminals and to speed up investigations.

Earlier, the Minister hoisted the tri-colour here to mark the country's 70th independence day today. Nashik Divisional Commissioner Eknath Davle and senior government officials were present on the occasion.
