Maha Kumbh Mela 2025: Digital Experience And AI Chatbot Launch
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently addressed a gathering during the launch of several development projects for the '2025 Maha Kumbh Mela' in Prayagraj. The event aims to offer a digital experience to devotees worldwide, with a unique token of the mega event. Under the leadership of Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, AI Generative Chatbot technology is being introduced for the first time.
Visitors can scan a QR code to generate a personalised Maha Kumbh certificate featuring their photo, which can be digitally saved or printed. This initiative is part of the Digital Maha Kumbh vision. Officials announced on Monday that this technology will provide complete details about every event and major programme of the Maha Kumbh.

AI Chatbot Enhances User Experience
The AI chatbot is gaining popularity across India, with extensive promotion on social media platforms like X, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram. This initiative has made it a trending tool for connecting devotees with the Maha Kumbh experience globally. The chatbot offers virtual guidance to Maha Kumbh Nagar from anywhere in the world.
In addition to guiding users, the chatbot provides essential information about food, lockers, washrooms, and changing rooms. It supports 11 languages including Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Bengali and Urdu. Users can ask questions by speaking or writing and receive responses in their preferred language.
Maha Kumbh Mela 2025: A Grand Event
Kumbh Mela occurs every three years; Ardh Kumbh Mela every six years; and Maha Kumbh Mela every twelve years. The last Maha Kumbh was held in 2013 followed by Ardh Kumbh in 2019. The upcoming Maha Kumbh Mela will take place from January 13 to February 26 in Prayagraj.
This grand festival attracts saints and people from around the globe who wish to participate in this holy fair. The event is known as Mahasangam due to its significance as a holy confluence where everyone desires to take a dip.
Aparajita Singh, Regional Tourism Officer in Prayagraj stated that preparations are underway under the chief minister's guidance to make this event spiritually uplifting and technologically advanced. Officials from various departments are collaborating on this digital initiative.
The AI chatbot not only resolves queries but also creates personal connections enhancing user experience. It serves as an effective medium for engaging with visitors while providing them with necessary information about events at Maha Kumbh.
Maha Kumbh 2025 promises an unforgettable digital experience through its innovative use of AI technology ensuring devotees worldwide have access to comprehensive information about this significant cultural event.
