Maha Kumbh-2025: CM Yogi Adityanath Inspects Prayagraj Airport Preparations
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently visited Prayagraj to assess the preparations for the Maha Kumbh-2025. During his visit, he inspected the Prayagraj airport and instructed that all related work should be finished by the first week of January. The UP government released a statement highlighting his inspection and guidance provided to officials.

While crossing the Subedarganj flyover, Adityanath made an unscheduled stop at the airport. He conducted a detailed inspection and offered necessary directions to ensure timely completion of tasks. The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction with the progress observed during his visit.
Airport Preparations for Maha Kumbh
Prayagraj Airport Director Mukesh Upadhyay noted that Adityanath reviewed improvements at the old terminal building and parking facilities. "The CM examined the improvements in the old terminal building and parking facilities, expressing satisfaction with the work completed so far," he stated. The Chief Minister also evaluated the ongoing expansion of the new terminal and assessed the comprehensive layout plan at the project site.
With an expected surge in passenger traffic from January 13 due to Maha Kumbh, Adityanath stressed that all preparations should be concluded by early January. Upadhyay assured that efforts are underway to complete all work by December 31.

The Maha Kumbh-2025 is scheduled to occur in Prayagraj from January 13 to February 26. This significant event is anticipated to draw a large number of visitors, necessitating thorough preparations at key infrastructure points like the airport.
The Chief Minister's visit underscores the importance of ensuring that all facilities are ready to accommodate increased passenger numbers. His directives aim to ensure a smooth experience for attendees during this major religious gathering.
