Maha Kumbh 2025: Rudraksha Baba Stuns Devotees Wearing 11,000 Rudrakshas at Prayagraj's Grand Festival

Devotees and spiritual leaders from across India and the globe are converging on Prayagraj for the Maha Kumbh Mela, set to commence on January 13, 2025, and continue until February 26, 2025. Among the many attendees, Rudraksh Baba stands out, captivating the attention of followers and social media enthusiasts alike with his internet sensation videos. Known for his distinctive adornment of 11,000 rudraksh beads, forming 108 garlands, Rudraksh Baba has become a significant figure at the Maha Kumbh Mela.

The Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 promises an improved experience for attendees, as noted by Rudraksh Baba. He expressed his satisfaction with the enhanced arrangements for the upcoming event, highlighting the efforts made to ensure a better experience than previous gatherings. "I am very happy that I have come here for the Maha Kumbh. The arrangements made have improved since the last time," Rudraksh Baba shared, emphasizing the positive changes made for this significant spiritual event.

Several other revered ascetics, including Khadeshwar Naga Baba from Gujarat and Digambar Baba from Rajasthan, have made their way to Prayagraj ahead of the event's start. Digambar Baba, a proponent of Sanatan Dharma, is particularly known for his unique practice of keeping his right hand raised for the past five years, a symbol of his dedication to protecting and promoting Sanatan Dharma. "I have been standing like this since the last five years. I am only doing this for the protection of the Sanatan dharma and for the protection of the future of our country... Sanatan Dharma will continue forever, there is neither any start to it nor any end," Digambar Baba stated.

Notably, Rudraksh Baba has been a long-time bearer of the 11,000 rudraksh beads, which he says represent the rudras of Lord Shiva and were gifts from his worshippers. The total weight of these beads exceeds 30 kg, symbolizing his deep devotion and connection to spiritual practices. "People know me as the Rudraksh Baba. These 11,000 rudraksh are the rudras of Lord Shiva. I have been wearing these for a very long time now. These rudras were gifted to me by my worshippers... Every seer wears these rudras," Rudraksh Baba explained.

The Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 is scheduled around several important dates, starting with Paush Purnima on January 13, followed by Makar Sankranti on January 14, Mauni Amavasya on January 29, Basant Panchami on February 3, Maghi Purnima on February 12, and concluding with Maha Shivaratri on February 26. These dates mark significant moments during the Mela, attracting even more pilgrims and spiritual leaders to Prayagraj.

Other prominent figures such as Chhotu Baba, Chabhi wale Baba, and E-rickshaw Baba are also among the attendees, further showcasing the diverse and rich tapestry of spiritual practices and beliefs represented at the Maha Kumbh Mela. With the influx of seers, sages, and devotees, Prayagraj is set to become a focal point of spiritual activity, embodying the rich cultural and religious heritage of India.
