The Dharma Sansad, organized by renowned spiritual leader and Bhagwat Katha orator, Devkinandan Thakurji Maharaj, will take place today at the ongoing Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. This significant event brings together a host of prominent saints, Gurus, and Sanatan leaders with a key focus on the establishment of a Sanatan Board, a proposal that Thakurji Maharaj plans to present to the Government, as reported by ANI.
A Call for Unity Among Devotees

Devkinandan Thakurji Maharaj expressed his commitment to ensuring the welfare of Sanatan Dharma and the protection of temples. He emphasized the importance of the Dharma Sansad as a platform for these goals. Speaking to ANI, he said, "We all want the formation of the Sanatan Board, and we are submitting this proposal to the Government. All Dharmacharyas are united in their desire to ensure the safety and security of Sanatan Dharma and temples. This is why the Dharma Sansad is being convened."
The event will see participation from various revered figures including Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Sadanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj, Jagadguru Nimbarkacharya ShriJi Maharaj, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri Ji Maharaj, and many more. A Religious Gathering with a Strong Purpose
Devkinandan Thakurji Maharaj has previously appealed to Hindus across the nation to actively participate in this event, urging them to present their demands for the Sanatan Board to the government. In a video shared on X, he expressed his concerns: "Why is there injustice to us? I am praying before you, and also before Modiji and Yogi ji, for the creation of the Sanatan Board to address the needs of the Sanatan people," he stated.
In a powerful post on X, Thakurji Maharaj called for unity, urging Hindus to gather strength for this cause. "The Sanatan Dharma Parliament, which is scheduled for January 27th during the Maha Kumbh, is like a religious yajna. Let us all come together and raise our demand for the establishment of the Sanatan Board with strength," he wrote.
Setting the Stage for the Sanatan Board
Today's gathering is expected to lay the foundation for drafting the constitution of the Sanatan Board, a body aimed at safeguarding the interests of Sanatan Dharma and ensuring that its principles are upheld, as reported by ANI. With a vast number of attendees and supporters expected at the event, the Dharma Sansad promises to be a pivotal moment for the community, marking a significant step toward the formal recognition and protection of Sanatan traditions.
