Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav Surprises Passengers During Train Journey

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav surprised passengers on the Bhopal-bound Intercity Express by boarding the train at Narmadapuram station. He mingled freely with the travellers, engaging in conversations and sharing experiences. The journey to Rani Kamlapati railway station became an opportunity for passengers to express their thoughts directly to Yadav, who travelled like a regular commuter.

An official mentioned that Yadav interacted with passengers in his usual rustic manner, discussing the development of Madhya Pradesh. The chief minister and his team purchased train tickets, which were checked by the ticket collector. Upon entering the train, Yadav was quickly surrounded by passengers, including children, with whom he shared chocolates and light-hearted moments.

Chief Minister's Humble Approach

Passengers were taken aback by Yadav's simple style and humility throughout the journey. "His simple style attracted us. We had never dreamt that a chief minister would meet us with such simplicity and humbleness," an official quoted passengers as saying. Yadav's approach resonated with many, highlighting his commitment to connecting with people on a personal level.

Yadav, who took office as Chief Minister in December 2023, emphasised his dedication to earning public trust. "Being the head of the government, it is my duty to serve people. Apart from this, no other thought comes to my mind," he stated. He believes a leader should be loved and trusted by the people they serve.

Engaging with Citizens

During the journey, Yadav shared anecdotes and listened to passengers' experiences. He shook hands, talked to them, and took selfies, reminiscent of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's interactions with citizens. "He shared his Mann Ki Baat with people in the same way as PM Modi does," noted an official.

Earlier in the day, Yadav attended the Maa Narmada Janmotsav-Gaurav Diwas programme in Narmadapuram as the chief guest. After participating in Narmada Jayanti celebrations at Sethani Ghat, he expressed gratitude on social media for the blessings of Mother Narmada. "Tvadiya Pad Pankaj Namami Devi Narmade... Darshan-worship of life-giving mother Narmada ji at Sethani Ghat in Narmadapuram has filled me with new energy," he wrote.

Yadav prayed for continued prosperity and well-being for Madhya Pradesh's farmers and residents. "May every home be filled with wealth and grains, may the lamps of happiness always shine," he expressed on social media. His message reflected a desire for ongoing blessings and prosperity across the state.
