Madan Mitra's custody extended till Jan 30
Kolkata, Jan 16:Rejecting the bail plea of West Bengal transport minister Madan Mitra yet again, a court here on Friday extended his custody till Jan 30. He was arrested in connection with the Sarada scam.
On the expiry of his earlier judicial remand, Mitra was presented in the coourt of additional chief judicial magistrate H Mukherjee. After hearing both the prosecution and the defence, the court extended his custody by 14 days.
