Lucknow: No toilet, no electricity in this Bhadarsa village

Villagers in Bhadarsa in Uttar Pradesh's district were recently asked to build toilets to ensure they receive electricity supply to their homes.

However, Block Development Officer of Sarojini Nagar on Tuesday directed cutting of electricity supply of houses those without toilets in Bhadarsa village.

Bhadarsa residents said that they are facing problems after electricity cut & they asked for time to make toilets but BDO didn't listen.

According to Ajay Pratap, BDO,''Electricity is restored but why aren't ppl cooperating with govt when they have means to make not 1 but even 2-3 toilets?.''
