Lucknow Court Rejects Bail Plea In Triple Murder Case
A Lucknow court has denied bail to three individuals accused of murdering three people, including a woman and her son, in a property dispute. The incident occurred in the Malihabad police station area, resulting in the deaths of Farheen Khan, her son Hanjala, and Hanjalas uncle Munir Khan. The fourth accused remains at large.
On Monday, a court in Lucknow rejected the bail plea of three individuals charged with fatally shooting three people, including a woman and her 17-year-old son, in a property dispute that occurred the previous week. The accused, Siraj Khan alias Lalan Khan, his son Faraz Khan, and driver Ashrafi, had their bail petitions denied by Chief Judicial Magistrate Hrishikesh Pandey after Assistant Prosecution Officer Rajendra Pandey and plaintiffs advocate Shailendra Singh Yadav voiced their opposition.

Fourth Accused Remains Absconding
The fourth accused in the case, identified as Furkan, is currently at large, according to the police. The tragic incident took place on February 2nd, when three family members, Farheen Khan (40), her son Hanjala, and Hanjala's uncle Munir Khan alias Taj (50), were allegedly shot and killed by their own relatives over a property dispute.
Incident Details and Aftermath
The incident, which occurred within the jurisdiction of the Malihabad police station, also resulted in injuries to two individuals. Based on a complaint filed by Farid Ahmed Khan, a case was registered at the Malihabad police station. According to the FIR, the accused arrived at Fareed Ahmed Khan's residence in a car on the day of the incident and began verbally abusing him and his family. Siraj Khan, a known history-sheeter, was armed with a rifle, as stated in the FIR.
Upon hearing the commotion, the plaintiffs cousin, Munir Khan, attempted to intervene. Tragically, Siraj Khan and his son Faraz Khan allegedly opened fire with the rifle, resulting in the deaths of Farheen, Hanjala, and Munir. The three accused were presented before the remand magistrate on Sunday, who subsequently remanded them to judicial custody.
Police Commissioner's Statement
Police Commissioner SB Shirodkar provided additional information about the incident, stating, "There was a property dispute between relatives in the Mohammad Nagar area of the Malihabad police station area. Individuals from one party fatally shot three people, including a woman and her 17-year-old son." He further revealed that the accused in the case are closely related to the deceased and that the police have successfully recovered the rifle used in the crime.
The Lucknow court's denial of bail to the three accused underscores the seriousness of the property dispute that led to this tragic incident. As the investigation continues, the police remain focused on apprehending the fourth absconding accused and ensuring justice for the victims and their families.
