2:30 pm: In West Bengal, the BJP named nine candidates including journalist-politician Chandan Mitra, who will contest from Hooghly. Mitra is a Rajya Sabha member.
2:11 pm: BJP declares list of 52 names in its second list for LS polls. Senior leader O Rajagopal will contest from Thiruvananthapuram.
2:10 pm: Ananth Kumar to retain Bangalore South ticket
2:00 pm: Former Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa will contest from Shimoga constituency. Sources said that former chief minister Sadananda Gowda might contest from Bangalore North.
