Thiurvananthapuram, March 11: LPG tanker lorry operators in Kerala on March 10 called off their indefinite strike following an agreement during talks held with state Transport Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan on their demands.

Lorry operators have been protesting against restrictions imposed by the government on the movement of LPG tanker lorries in the state roads. As per the agreement, bulk LPG tankers would not operate betwen 8 to 11 am and 4 to 6 pm.

The restrictions on the movement of small tankers would be decided by respective district collectors taking into consideration the circumstances of each district, an official release said here tonight.
