Love Tamil culture, language and vibe of Chennai, says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday participated in celebrations commemorating the 125th Anniversary of Sri Ramakrishna Math in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

While addressing the 125th Anniversary celebrations of Sri Ramakrishna Math in Chennai, PM Modi said, "Ramakrishna Math has played an important role in my life." "In Kanyakumari, meditating at the famous rock, Swami Ji discovered the purpose of his life," he said.

"I love the Tamil language, Tamil culture and the vibe of Chennai," says Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the 125th Anniversary celebrations of Sri Ramakrishna Math in Chennai. "Today, the opportunity to visit the Vivekananda House. Swami stayed at this place when he returned from his famous trip from the West. Meditating here was a special experience," he said.

Swami Ramakrishnananda had started Sri Ramakrishna Math in Chennai in 1897. Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission are spiritual organisations engaged in various forms of humanitarian and social service activities.
