Loud music played at Salman Khan's sister Arpita's b'day bash, organiser fined

Mumbai, Aug 2: Organiser of a party hosted to celebrate birthday of Arpita, sister of Bollywood actor Salman Khan, was fined on Aug 1 for allegedly playing loud music at night.

"The organiser of the party, Santosh Mane was asked to pay Rs 12,500," a Khar police official said.

He said very loud music was played at the bash which was organised at Pacific Heights in suburban Khar late last night and continued till early morning following which people in the vicinity called up the control room who in turn alerted Khar police.

"Police went to the spot and found that music was being played very loudly. Hence police asked the organiser to stop the music and imposed the penalty," the official said.
