Muslim Ulema says Lord Shiva is first 'Muslim Prophet'
Lucknow, Feb 19: This statement may not augur down well amongst the Muslim hardliners.
In a statement which may snowball into major controversy in coming days, Jamiat Ulema chief Mufti Muhammad Ilyas said that Hindu god 'lord Shiva' was Muslim's first prophet. Not only that, he further said that Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati are their parents.

" Lord Shiva is the first messenger of Muslims. As China is for Chinese and japan is for Japanese we are all Indians and children of same God ie Lord Shiva " Ilyas said while speaking in Ayodhya.
Reportedly, he also acknowledged RSS and various other Hindu Organizations theory that India is a land of Hindus. " We are not against terming India as Hindu nation", Muslim cleric said.
As per reports, On February 27, Jamiat Ulema will conduct National Komi Ekta conference at Balrampur. Mufti Muhammad Ilyas has come to Ayodhya to invite all Hindu saints to attend the conference.
