The alliance that will see them sharing assembly and Lok Sabha seats in Seemandhra and Telangana.

According to the pact, BJP will contest on eight Lok Sabha and 45 assembly seats in Telangana and 4-5 Lok Sabha and 12-15 assembly seats in Seemandhra.

BJP had sought 45 assembly seats in Telangana after initially seeking a 50:50 share in the region's 119 seats, said a TOI report.

In Andhra Pradesh, a state soon to be divided into two, Congress and Telugu Rashtra Samiti are going alone in elections. The polls in the state is on April 30 and May 7.

Chandra Babu Naidu, head of TDP, is keen to grow his party into a supreme power in Seemandhra region. So TDP may not give up many seats in the region to BJP.
