Lok Sabha Polls 2024: 7/7 For BJP In Delhi In A Repeat Of 2019, Says India Today's MOTN Report
In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, a significant shift in the political landscape is likely to be witnessed in Delhi.
Mood of the Nation predicts that all 7 seats up for grabs in the national capital will be swept by the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), dealing a blow to Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party, which heads the government.

7/7 for BJP in Delhi in a repeat of 2019: India Today
The BJP is likely to secure a dominant 57 per cent of the vote share in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, the same as last time. The Mood of the Nation's February 2024 edition is based on a survey of 35,801 respondents in all Lok Sabha seats. The poll was conducted between December 15, 2023, and January 28, 2024. Health warning: Opinion polls can get it wrong.
This surge for the NDA comes at a time when the Congress and the AAP have joined forces under the banner of the INDIA bloc. The two parties combined are estimated to garner around 40 per cent of the votes.
Notably, AAP, which has previously enjoyed overwhelming support in Delhi's Assembly elections, is set to witness a contraction in its vote share, which is now predicted to be just 15 per cent.
Comparing these figures to previous elections, there is a clear contrast in voting patterns between Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Delhi. Historically, regional forces like AAP have shown considerable strength in Assembly polls, with AAP securing over 50 per cent of the vote in the 2015 and 2020 Assembly elections. However, their influence seems to wane in the Lok Sabha elections, where national issues and party affiliations play a more significant role.
