Lok Sabha polls 2014: Priyanka Gandhi to campaign in Amethi

today reached Amethi and will be campaigning in the district for her brother and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi.

Priyanka will be holding public meetings, will interact with party workers and will be visiting 16 blocks in the constituency. Priyanka was recently caught in a political storm after there were reports that she would contest from Varanasi against Narendra Modi and Arvind Kejriwal.

But Priyanka denied these reports and said that she would focus and campaign only in two constituencies, Amethi and Rae Bareli, where her brother and mother will contest the Lok Sabha election respectively.

Priyanka also raised many eyebrows when she said that people must not vote for Varun Gandhi as he had strayed in the wrong direction.

Meanwhile Priyanka also praised Manmohan Singh by calling him a 'super PM.'
