Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Results: 'Arvind Kejriwal' Meme-Fest Amid Vote-Counting

As the election results are being announced by many news agencies, netizens have taken to X to make their day a little lighter by posting memes on recent affairs. While most memes are relatively neutral or in support of the user's preferred party, a lot of memes are floating around poking fun at the national convener of Aam Aadmi Party, Arvind Kejriwal.

Early last month, on 10 May, the Supreme Court of India had granted Arvind Kejriwal a 21-day bail in order to continue campaigning for the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. Once his bail had expired, he surrendered himself to Tihar jail, stating his disapproval towards being convicted and believing this to be a conspiracy against him by the central government.

However, one of the most popular memes that's currently circulating on X is one using a still of Nawazuddin Siddiqui watching something with red eyes and great focus. The still is from the 2015 movie 'Badlapur'. The caption of the meme reads, "Arvind kejriwal watching election results from Tihad jail." While it is a misspelling of 'Tihar Jail', If one searches 'Tihad Jail on' X, they will be greeted with a wall of posts of this exact meme.
