How To Vote Without Voter's ID Card?
The Elections Commission of India (ECI) has now allowed citizens to vote without a voter ID card to encourage the maximum number of voters. According to the reports, the commission will allow people to cast their vote who will be carrying passports, Aadhaar cards, PAN cards, Driving licences, MNREGA cards, and ID cards of Central and state government employees.
Senior citizens carrying pension cards with photos will also be eligible to exercise their votes at all polling booths.

However, it is important and mandatory that voters' names should be in the official voter list shared by the Election Commission of India.
On Friday, 102 seats of 21 states and union territories will go under polling, and the fates of 8 union ministers, 2 former Chief Ministers and other heavyweights will be decided by the voters.
At a presser, earlier, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar announced that Lok Sabha elections 2024 will be held in seven phases starting from April 19, followed by April 26, May 7, May 13, May 20, May 25, and concluding on June 1. The results for all 543 Lok Sabha seats will be announced on June 4, 2024.
For the convenience of citizens, the Election Commission has shared updated voters list on ECI's website and mobile application, through which, the voters can find their names easily in the list. People who want to cross-check their name in the voters' list, can follow the simple steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Log on to https://voters.eci.gov.in/
Step 2: At the top right of your screen, click the "search in electoral roll" option.
Step 3: Enter the state and select the language.
Step 4: Enter your first name, then surname in the second box
Step 5: Submit Father's/Husband's name
Step 6: Add the date of birth and gender
Step 7: Select your district and Assembly constituency
Step 8: Fill the captcha code
Step 9: Hit the "search" option
Step 10: Your name along with your photo and voter id number will appear on the screen.
