Lok Sabha Election Results 2024: Check The List Of BJP Candidates Leading Across Country
The vote counting for the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections commenced at 8 AM on Tuesday. This year, general elections were scheduled in seven phases for 543 constituencies that commenced on April 19 and concluded on June 1. Following the conclusion of the last and the seventh phase of the 18th Lok Sabha elections on Saturday, all major exit polls predicted a clean sweep for the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP)- led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) at the Centre.
However, the polling results will ultimately determine who has been left behind and who will succeed. Following is the list of BJP leaders who are leading in their respective constituencies.

1. Narendra Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leading in Varanasi. This is his third time contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Varanasi. Ajay Rai, the Congress candidate who also contested from the same constituency in 2014 and 2019, is his main opponent.
2. Amit Shah
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is ahead of Congress candidate Sonal Patel in the Gandhinagar seat. This is one of the most closely observed seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Gandhinagar has long been a BJP stronghold, previously represented by leaders such as Atal Bihari Vajpayee and L K Advani. In the 2019 elections, Shah defeated Congress leader C J Chavda by 5.57 lakh votes.
3. Rajnath Singh
Defence Minister and BJP leader Rajnath Singh is leading in the Lucknow constituency of Uttar Pradesh. He is competing against Samajwadi Party's Ravidas Mehrotra and BSP's Sarwar Malik. Singh has been the MP from Lucknow since 2014 and is serving as the 29th Defence Minister in the second Modi Ministry.
4. Kangana Ranaut
Bollywood actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut, a new entrant for the BJP, is making a strong debut and continues to lead in the Mandi constituency. She is running against Congress veteran Vikramaditya Singh. Although Mandi was initially a Congress stronghold, BJP's Ram Swaroop Sharma won the seat in 2019 by a significant margin, securing 68.75 per cent of the votes.
5. Manoj Tiwari
Bollywood actor-turned-politician, Manoj Tiwari has taken a substantial lead in the North East Delhi seat. He is facing Kanhaiya Kumar of Congress.
6. Tejasvi Surya
Tejasvi Surya from Bengaluru South has a wide lead over Congress' Sowmya Reddy, according to Election Commission of India (ECI) data.
7. Jyotiraditya Scindia
Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia is leading in the Guna seat of Madhya Pradesh by a huge margin. He is standing against Congress candidate Rao Yadvendra Singh Yadav.
8. Manohar Lal Khattar
former Haryana Chief Minister and two-time MLA Manohar Lal Khattar is leading in the Karnal constituency, maintaining BJP's dominance in the area. This election saw a political clash between Khattar and former Haryana Youth Congress President Divyanshu Budhiraja.
9. Nitin Gadkari
Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari is leading from the Nagpur constituency in Maharashtra, as per the latest trends of counting for the Lok Sabha elections. He is standing against Congress's Vikas Thakre.
10. Karan Bhushan Singh
Karan Bhushan Singh, son of Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, is leading in the Kaiserganj Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh. He is up against Ram Bhagat Mishra of the Samajwadi Party and Narendra Pandey of the Bahujan Samaj Party.
