Lok Sabha Election Prediction: Can BJP Repeat Its 2019 Success In Bengal Today?
Can the BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi repeat its 2019 Lok Sabha performance in West Bengal if the polls are held today? Especially when a lot of leaders in the state ditched the saffron party after the 2021 state assembly polls where the TMC came to power with a bang.
BJP's Stunning Performance

The BJP had come out with flying colours in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls by winning 18 out of 22 seats. The ruling TMC had won the remaining 22 seats.
As per the India TV-CNX opinion poll, the BJP is likely to bag 10 seats, eight lesser than the last time. whereas the TMC is predicted to win 30 seats. The Congress might win two seats.
According to the survey, the BJP is expected to secure 36 percent of the vote share, while the TMC may garner 48 percent. The Congress is projected to receive 7 percent, the CPI(M) 6 per cent and other parties may collectively receive 3 percent.
The survey was carried out from September 20 to October 3, and the sample size was 54,250 voters, comprising 28,309 males and 25,941 females.
The Lok Sabha polls are expected to be held next April and May where the BJP will be seeking its third consecutive term under the leadership of Narendra Modi.
One notable change that has taken in the national politics since 2019 is the coming together of the Opposition parties under the new bloc called INDIA.
